Soon after her divorce, Yun-hee receives a letter and recalls a memory of her first love, a Japanese lady of her age. Her daughter Sae-bom comes up with a secret plan to find the sender thinking it might help Yun-hee to overcome her post-divorce depression. After Sae-bom’s repeated asking, Yun-hee finally agrees to go on a trip to Japan without knowing what plan her daughter has in mind.
