Eight years after their youngest daughter Gyeong-ju was killed on a school trip, mother Ok-sil and her three daughters — Jang-ju, Young-ju, and Dong-ju — set off on a road trip to Gyeongju on what would have been her birthday. As the four women traverse the rural landscape, their grief, bonds, and sense of justice are pushed to the breaking point.
